Ruakaka Beach, New Zealand

12" x 12"
Oil on Canvas
$550
This is a painting of a long stretch of the sandy-white beach near the small town of Ruakaka, New Zealand on Bream Bay. It was named Bream Bay by Captain Cook because he mistakenly thought the sparkling waters were teeming with bream, although the fish were more likely snapper.
